Externalizing problems, particularly aggression, are among the most prominent behavioral issues in childhood, and familial factors along with parent-child interaction styles play a significant role in their development and persistence. Accordingly, the present study investigated the role of mentalizing-based parenting in relation to these difficulties. This study was applied in terms of its objective and employed a descriptive-correlational design using regression analysis. The statistical population comprised male and female elementary school children with externalizing problems and their parents in the primary schools of Karaj during the 2025–2026 academic year. A multi-stage sampling method was used, and data were gathered using the Parental Reflective Functioning Questionnaire and the Aggression Questionnaire. The findings revealed a significant relationship between mentalizing-based parenting and oppositional aggression. The predictive analyses further indicated that the examined mentalizing variables significantly accounted for and predicted children’s aggression and oppositional defiant symptoms. Overall, the findings underscore the significance of parental mentalizing capacity in shaping and mitigating children’s externalizing behaviors, suggesting that concurrently addressing parents’ cognitive-emotional processes and the emotional climate of the family can be valuable in designing preventive programs and family-centered interventions for children with behavioral difficulties. پژوهش حاضر با هدف تبیین رابطه فرزندپروری مبتنی بر ذهنی سازی با پرخاشگری در کودکان دبستانی دارای مشکلات برون نمود انجام شد. مشکلات برون نمود، به ویژه پرخاشگری از مهم ترین مشکلات رفتاری دوران کودکی هستند و عوامل خانوادگی و شیوه تعامل والدین با کودک می توانند در شکل گیری و تداوم آن ها نقش مهمی داشته باشند. بر این اساس، پژوهش حاضر به بررسی نقش فرزندپروری مبتنی بر ذهنی سازی در ارتباط با این مشکلات پرداخت. این پژوهش از نظر هدف کاربردی و از نظر روش، توصیفی ـ همبستگی و از نوع تحلیل رگرسیون بود. جامعه آماری شامل کودکان دختر و پسر مقطع ابتدایی دارای مشکلات برون نمود و والدین آنان در مدارس ابتدایی شهرستان کرج در سال تحصیلی ۱۴۰۵-۱۴۰۴ بود. نمونه گیری به صورت چندمرحله ای انجام شد و داده ها با استفاده از پرسشنامه های ظرفیت کنش تأملی والدین و پرخاشگری گردآوری شدند. یافته های پژوهش نشان داد که بین فرزندپروری مبتنی بر ذهنی سازی با پرخاشگری مقابله ای رابطه معناداری وجود دارد. نتایج تحلیل های پیش بینی نیز نشان داد که متغیرهای ذهنی سازی موردبررسی توانایی معناداری در تبیین و پیش بینی پرخاشگری و نشانه های نافرمانی مقابله ای کودکان داشته اند. درمجموع، یافته ها بر اهمیت ظرفیت ذهنی سازی در شکل گیری و کاهش رفتارهای برون نمود کودکان تأکید کرد و نشان داد توجه هم زمان به فرایندهای شناختی ـ هیجانی والدین و فضای عاطفی خانواده می تواند در طراحی برنامه های پیشگیرانه و مداخلات خانواده محور برای کودکان دارای مشکلات رفتاری سودمند باشد. https://www.ijpk.ir/downloadfilepdf/8334555
